Nike - Northern Europe Central Europe

Two videos for Nike NECE (Northern Europe Central Europe), for their annual Nike conference that took place in Sevilla Spain. Commissioned by Indie (formely known as S-W-H, Dutch advertising agency of the year), in cooperation with Erika Vocking Productions.

The first video was the opening movie of the conference, an energetic overview of Nike's recent highlights to inspire them for the next period. The second movie was a short portrait of Royston Drenthe, player at Real Madrid, to introduce him as the new face of Nike Sportwear.

Despite of the almost impossible deadlines we pulled it off. As a bonus we were invited to the Nike Headquarters to pick out some Nike gear. It's always nice to get some presents : )

Nachtshots - One Minute Videos

Organized by N8 ( Museumnacht) and Cineville.

The weeks before the 10th Museumnacht my one minute movies Ratatat and New York Untitled were shown in Cineville cinemas such as Kriterion, Cinecenter, Ketelhuis and Filmmuseum as part of Nachtshots, a one m inute video contest about ''Culture at Night'.

At the Van Gogh Museum the jury announced my Ratatat video as one of the 3 nominees. IIn the end I didn't win, but being at the top 3 amongst 50 videos isn't that bad I think : )

HEINEKEN WORLDWIDE
Currently I'm working on Heineken at Iris, an international advertising agency that recently opened it's Dutch headquarters in the heart of Amsterdam. This year Heineken will launch a new exclusive bottle, which will be sold at the more exclusive clubs and bars around the world. We are involved in the way this bottle will be introduced, the communication and the look & feel and design of all Heineken items such as fridges, ice buckets, barblades and luminated signs. A very nice project to work on, with a very motivated team at a very friendly company.

Gold for 3FM Commercials!

These series of TV commercials for 3FM Radio feature bands like The Streets, Faithless, Oasis and The Foofighters, talking about what really moves them in music. An authentic series of mini documentaires, that has also been proven to be very effective.

This campaign positioned 3FM with a very strong identity: 'Real music, Real People'. In 2007 this campaign was rewarded with a 'Gouden Effie' (Gold), a prestigious award for the most effective creative communication. I was responsible for the concept, art-direction and edit of this series of TV commercials, including the pay-off 'real music, real people'. Commissioned by and in cooperation with Red Cell Not Just Film.

''De moedige keuze voor Serious Radio geeft Radio 3FM een geheel eigen positionering ten opzichte van de concurrentie. Een serieuze en betrokken positie in de maatschappij, tegen de trend van dj-BN’ers in, is voor een jongerenzender zeker gewaagd te noemen. De behaalde resultaten laten zien dat de keuze succesvol is geweest.'

Universiteit van Amsterdam

Communication, Consultancy, Visual Identity and Workshops for the Facilities Department of the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In cooperation with Oscar Flier Productions.

The Facility Department wanted to improve their position within the University, a stronger identity and a clearer way of communicating. They asked to come up with concepts and ideas. We won this pitch in April of this year and successfully presented our ideas to the Management Team. In July we gave two workshops which were meant to inspire the employees and to involve them in the proces, to find out what coud be improved. Now at the beginning of the new study year we successfully introduced a solid base, which will be further developed in the coming months.
