Nike - Northern Europe Central Europe

This summer I made two videos for Nike NECE (Northern Europe Central Europe), for their annual Nike conference that took place in Sevilla Spain. Commissioned by Indie (formely known as S-W-H, Dutch advertising agency of the year) and in cooperation with Erika Vocking Productions.

The first video was the openingsmovie of the conference, an energetic overview of Nike's recent highlights to inspire them for the next period. The second movie was a short portrait of Royston Drenthe, player at Real Madrid, to introduce him as the new face of Nike Sportwear.

Despite of the almost impossible deadlines we pulled it off. As a bonus we were invited to the Nike Headquarters to pick out some Nike gear. It's always nice to get some presents : )

tommy hilfiger

Currently I am developing a monogram for Tommy Hilfiger which is meant to be used as a new worldwide symbol, so quite a prestigious project. In cooperation with [Re].

Earlier this summer the first proposals were send to the headquarters in New York and after an intense selection procedure Tommy Hilfiger decided that they wanted to continue with one of my designs, so of course I am quite pleased with that. In August we further developed this direction to show the full potential of the symbol on all sorts of items, from little buttons and belts to patterns on bags. Again Tommy Hilfiger reacted positive. Recently some embroidery tests are done to see how it works on fabric. So, now we wait and see.

Universiteit van Amsterdam

Communication, Consultancy, Visual Identity and Workshops for the Facilities Department of the Universiteit van Amsterdam. In cooperation with Oscar Flier Productions.

The Facility Department wanted to improve their position within the University, a stronger identity and a clearer way of communicating. They asked to come up with concepts and ideas. We won this pitch in April of this year and successfully presented our ideas to the Management Team. In July we gave two workshops which were meant to inspire the employees and to involve them in the proces, to find out what coud be improved. Now at the beginning of the new study year we successfully introduced a solid base, which will be further developed in the coming months.

The weeks before the 10th Museumnacht my one minute movies Ratatat and New York Untitled will be shown in Cineville cinemas such as Kriterion, Cinecenter, Ketelhuis and Filmmuseum as part of Nachtshots, One Minute Videos about 'Culture at Night'.

Gold for 3FM Commercials

These series of TV commercials for 3FM Radio feature bands like The Streets, Faithless, Oasis and The Foofighters, talking about what really moves them in music

This campaign positioned 3FM with a very strong identity: 'Real music, Real People'. In 2007 this campaign was rewarded with a 'Gouden Effie' (Gold), a prestigious award for the most effective creative communication. I was responsible for the concept, art-direction and edit. Commissioned by and in cooperation with Red Cell Not Just Film.
